Message	there is circuitry in the BOSE headunit that measures signal and raises the mast when the glass ant. is not enough. My opinion is that the glass antenna is ineffective and would not bother with it at all. Be sure you connect your remote power lead from your head unit (blue wire), to the mast antenna power lead in the harness, this will cause the mast to rise when you power on your headunit. It could also be switched to raise the mast manually, so it could remain lowered when not using AM/FM.
